Where rates come from, how often they refresh, and what you are charged.
Choosing a currency
Choose a display currency in Settings and it applies to money estimates across TikTrace, including rankings, creator profiles and gifter totals. Signed-out visitors see estimates in US dollars. If a reference rate is unavailable, estimates fall back to US dollars.
Where exchange rates come from
TikTrace uses Frankfurter’s daily mid-market reference rate for display estimates and caches it for up to 24 hours. These rates are for comparison, not a quote from a bank or payment provider.

The estimate for the creator is made in dollars first and converted at the end, so the same diamonds always give the same dollar value. Only the last step moves with the market.
Why a value can differ from your bank or TikTok
- Our rate is a daily mid-market reference and can differ from the rate your bank or payment provider uses.
- TikTok converts payouts at its own rate on its own schedule.
- We round for readability, so tiny amounts may show as “≈ $0”.
