Enigma gifters
When a name can be found, when it can’t, and what happens if they ask to hide.
What an Enigma is
TikTok lets a gifter hide their name. Inside a live they appear only under a label such as “Enigma K2F9”, and the label can change. We can’t always see who an Enigma is, and we say so wherever one appears.
How a name gets found
- 1
They gift as an Enigma
The gift reaches us with the Enigma label and a hidden account number.
- 2
They gift to someone we track
We only see gifts sent to creators that a member tracks. An Enigma who only gifts untracked creators never reaches us.
- 3
We find the same account elsewhere
If the same account number also gifted under a normal name, to a tracked creator, the two records match. Only then do we know who it is.
No guarantee
If no tracked creator ever sees the same account under its normal name, the Enigma stays without a name. Paying more doesn’t change what we have seen.
What each plan sees
| Plan | Sees |
|---|---|
| Free | The Enigma label. No gifter lists. |
| Starter | The Enigma label and how much it spent. Never the name. |
| Studio | The real account when we found a match, and every label that account has used. |
If a match is wrong
We only show a name when the evidence lines up. If you think a match is wrong, or you are the person named and want it removed, write to support. We take it down while we check.
